She aims to bring forth this experience of the outdoors inside and visualises contexts beyond what the eye can see.

Rooted in exploration of landscapes and the emotions they evoke, Fanny uses oil as a medium to delve into the emotional undercurrents of a situation, experience, or place. Utilising the composition of a landscape, her paintings act as a vessel to evoke emotions.

Taking inspiration from folklore, mysticism, and the nature around her, Fanny's practice revolves around themes of spirituality, darkness, and solitude. She believes these themes to embody a sense of an 'alter-making' process, which she explores through her oil paintings. By spending her time in nature, she feels a connection to something divine and soothing. With this overarching sensation within her and her paintings, she aims to bring forth this experience of the outdoors inside and visualises contexts beyond what the eye can see.
