Her paintings are a result of theories from visual art, science, photography, and light art
Focusing on manifestations of light, colour, and dynamism, Kinga's abstract paintings depict a sense of balance and interconnectedness. Her paintings are a result of theories from visual art, science, photography, and light art. Previously, having studied mathematics and physics, she uses forms borrowed from science as a starting point for her paintings. In addition, the titles of her work bear reference to coding systems of online platforms, seemingly creating unsystematic word combinations that add a sense of atmosphere and musicality to her compositions.
Kinga's overarching interest in the nature and concept of light feeds her artistic exploration. Here, she finds the process of creating cyanotypes as the perfect starting point for her visual displays where light plays an active part in the creation of the image. These cyanotypes then provide the perfect base for painterly developments, on which she adds various media such as ink, acrylic paint, and several layers of resin coatings between them.
