Rowena Gilbert

Born to a fine artist, Rowena was immersed in art from a very young age. Influenced by her art teacher, a passionate collector of contemporary ceramics, Rowena developed a love for ceramics during her schooling. An award-winning ceramicist, she currently works from her shared studio in Brighton set up with the Prince's Trust fund, where she creates unique bowls and vases that are exhibited and sold at numerous galleries across the UK. Despite having worked professionally with clay for numerous years, she finds the medium elemental, malleable, and versatile, allowing her the freedom to express herself.
