Rebekah Tolley-Georgiou is an award-winning filmmaker and visual/sound artist, an educator and curator. She is currently the Society of Scottish Artists, satellite co-ordinator for the Scottish Borders.

 

With a background in producing and co-authoring critically acclaimed feature documentaries, including We Went to War, and Okhwan’s Mission Impossible, Rebekah’s work has been showcased at MoMA in New York and ICA, London. Her artistic endeavours extend beyond film, with installation works exhibited at renowned institutions like the Yorkshire Sculpture Park and the Singapore International Photography Festival; with wider research culminating in interdisciplinary projects challenging conventional narratives, such as BBC Slow Radio: Coventry’s Riley Square.

 

As an educator, Rebekah has delivered undergraduate and postgraduate

Art & Design, Documentary, Experimental Film and Global Cinema Narratives programmes across a number of UK academic institutions. Her recent accolades include winning the Society of Scottish Artists Past Presidents Prize (2023) in collaboration with artist, Gill Walton, and becoming an Amazon best-selling author for her contribution to Activate Your Life Vol IV, where she delves into the essence of creativity and the importance of intuitive connections in innovation.
