Lyndsey's inspiration is derived from interests in structure, space and transitions, particularly those associated with her surroundings, the city and built environments. Moulded by her career as an architect, her attentions are aligned to formations such as stairways, arches and doorways.

Many of her works are not only connected by the exploration of form but also themes of transformation.  She draws upon the interplay between light and the ordinarily overlooked structural elements, capturing their transformative effects on canvas and echoing the shifting changes within the urban landscape.
