Lindsey plays with points of transition and thresholds in her paintings...

Lindsey's inspiration is derived from interests in structure, space and transitions, particularly those associated with her surroundings, the city and built environments. Many of her works are not only connected by the exploration of form but also themes of transformation.  She draws upon the interplay between light and the ordinarily overlooked structural elements, capturing their transformative effects on canvas and echoing the shifting changes within the urban landscape.

Exploring the transformative effect of sunlight, Lindsey plays with points of transition and thresholds in her paintings, observing essential elements upon which we tend not to focus on. Through her works, Lindsey invites the viewer's attention to study the rhythm of light and shade often on the captured, seemingly ordinary spaces.
