Poppy explores colour through her own language of rhythm and structure.
Poppy is primarily an abstract artist exploring colour through her own language of rhythm and structure. She studied Fine Art at De Montfort University and has since become an award-winning artist, exhibiting in the UK and held in private collections worldwide.
Born in Fife, her childhood memories of flying with her father in an open cockpit biplane have informed her love of rhythmic landscapes. Drawing upon these influences, her delicate washes and drips collide with energetic strokes of saturated colour, which condense in suggestion of Scottish horizons.
