Working both from architectural subjects, as well as still life, Jenny aims to observe the imprint of human activity on our lives.
Central to her art is her love of colour and pattern. Working both from architectural subjects, as well as still life, she aims to observe the imprint of human activity on our lives. Decorative objects, textiles, frescoes, ornate tiles and facades of buildings all feed into her work.
She studied Fine Art at Edinburgh University followed by a MFA postgraduate in Painting at Edinburgh College of Art. She exhibits her paintings and printmaking throughout the UK. She is an elected member of the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour and teaches at Leith School of Art in Edinburgh.
