Working in gestural abstraction, Ellis explores the raw elemental presence of the highlands and islands, offering emotional translations of landscapes shaped by weather, memory, and time. Through layered brushwork and shifting palettes, she invites us to feel what lies between experience and echo – where land becomes memory and home.
Kerry’s work complements this in her energetic expressions of coastal action and erosion. Her paintings revisit familiar haunts, paths and tidal edges, drawing emotion and memory together.
