Leon and Wendy’s scenes perfectly capture the spirit of our stunning city
'Dapper Dogs & Downtown', featuring Edinburgh based artists Leon Anderson and Wendy Davidson, is on show at the Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel. The hotel, one of Edinburgh's finest five star dog friendly destinations, is proud to share their works with guests (both two- and four-legged).
Leon Anderson takes a fresh look at familiar Edinburgh streets, inviting us to appreciate and value this historical city. He also shares some of his inspired dog portraits, highlighting the traits that make them so loveable. “I’m a passionate artist and animal lover and I like to combine the two where my style and approach derives from the old masters and fine traditional artwork,” says Leon.
Wendy Davidson brings a joyful vibrancy to Scotland’s capital city, injecting light and vitality into our familiar streets. A self-taught multi-disciplinary artist, she’s inspired by the many and varied cityscapes of her home town. “I use my connection to people and places to explore themes I feel passionate about,” she states.
