As a young child, Hanna learned her drawing skills from her grandfather. Over the years, her practice has evolved and her interests drifted away from more conventional fine art subjects. She now focuses instead on still life depictions of various confectionary, foods, brands, and iconic pop culture subjects encountered everyday. Hanna's hyper-realistic stylised works provide a playful link between her Fine Art background and her interest in the more experimental genre of Pop Art.
Having worked with traditional media for as long as she can remember, Hanna continues to paint with oils, using a classical approach to create meticulous renderings of childhood favourites that she hopes will bridge the gap between admirers of traditional and contemporary painting.
