Every creative act is a bead in an endless rosary of learning.

Les graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Art and Design (Decorative Design) from the Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee, which he followed up with an MA in Art from Manchester Polytechnic.

After his studies, unhappy with all the chatter about the work and how 'reading' about the piece enabled appreciation of the piece, he quit and went to work managing information for large capital projects.

Les' friend Alasdair loaned him a compact digital camera to take with him to Jordan. For the first time, Les found images captured that closely resembled what he saw and wanted to take a picture of. An expensive hobby ensued.

All those involved in some way in the creative process will relate that every day and every creative act is a bead in an endless rosary of learning.
