Isaksson’s designs are characterised by clean lines, subtle colour palettes, and a deep appreciation for the beauty of the material. Her designs often reveal a sense of movement, capturing the inherent energy and fluidity working with molten glass. Designs are often very tactile, and she often encourages her audience to touch her glass.

Blowing glass is a constant battle against gravity, using heat whilst forming shapes in speed, many ideas are born through observing the behaviour of the glass whilst making other pieces or commissions.

Isaksson’s colour palette is inspired by memories of Sweden’s cold winters with ice and snow textures reflecting the light through. Colours and water reflections in the Scottish landscape also play a role, and her research trip to in India has brought splashes of bright pinks and gold into her recent work.
