Isaksson’s glass designs are often simple and timeless forms, heavily influenced by her early Scandinavian glass education. She initially trained in glass blowing at Orrefors Glass School, situated in the ‘Kingdom of Glass’, in south of Sweden. After graduating from her MA in Design & Applied Arts at Edinburgh College of Art, she further trained with master glass blower’s Dante Marioni and Simon Moore, at Northlands Glass Centre. She set up her own glass blowing workshop in 2010 and is currently based in Dunblane were she makes her work and help other artists realise visions in molten glass. In 2024 Isaksson was selected into the Homo Faber guide by the Michelangelo Foundation, showcasing her craft excellence in glass craftmanship.
