Each work is an expression of her relationship to her surroundings, thoughts, memories, and emotions.
Hatti Pattisson is a Scottish artist whose expressive paintings explore the boundaries between abstraction and representation, drawing inspiration from landscapes, seascapes, and florals. Growing up in Fife by the coastline, she developed an early connection to the sea that continues to influence her evocative works.
Artistic Development
Hatti's artistic journey began remarkably early—she was organizing her own exhibitions by the age of fifteen. Her formal education includes a Foundation course at the prestigious Central Saint Martins in London, followed by a BA (Honours) in Textiles from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design in Dundee. For Hatti, painting has always been the most intuitive and articulate language for self-expression.
Creative Expression
Each of Hatti's paintings serves as a personal expression of her relationship to her surroundings, thoughts, memories, and emotions. Beyond her original paintings and commissioned works, she produces hand-finished art prints that have found their way into private collections across the globe, testament to the universal appeal of her dreamy, emotive style.
