Christine Clark is an accomplished painter who has widely exhibited internationally in group and solo shows across London, France, Washington, and Edinburgh. Her artistic practice observes the beauty of the human spirit as it returns to nature for renewal, creating intimate narratives suspended in time that contemplate our deep connection to the natural world. Christine studied painting at Edinburgh College of Art, graduating in 2006, and currently works from her studio in central Edinburgh.

 

 

High-Profile Commissions

Recently, Christine was commissioned by musician Kelly Jones of Stereophonics to design the artwork for his solo album 'Inevitable Incredible.' Her talent has also been recognized by Edinburgh's luxury W Hotel, part of the St James redevelopment, where she was approached to create a bespoke piece for their penthouse suite. Additional commissions include work for the NHS Rohallion Care Clinic in Perth and the rooftop rest suite at G & V Hotel in Edinburgh.

 

 

Exhibitions and Collections

Christine's exhibition history includes her solo shows "Sacred Scents" in Edinburgh (2018) and a feature at Scotland Art in Glasgow (2016). She has participated in numerous group exhibitions, including "Inception" at Dalkeith Palace (2023), Hampstead Heath Art Fair in London (2022), and was shortlisted for the prestigious Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts in London (2019). Her work can be found in private collections worldwide, as well as in institutions such as the W Hotel in Edinburgh and the Art in Healthcare collection at Rohallion Unit in Perthshire.
