Each experience elicits in us a sense of connection to a specific place, moment in time, or loved one...

Christine Clark is a distinguished Edinburgh-based artist whose painting practice observes the beauty of the human spirit as it returns to nature for renewal. Since graduating from Edinburgh College of Art in 2006 with a BA (Hons) in Drawing and Painting, Christine has widely exhibited internationally in group and solo shows across London, France, Washington, and Edinburgh. Her mystical work creates intimate narratives suspended in time that contemplate the land and our deep connection to nature.

The Artistic Vision of Christine

Christine's paintings invite viewers to travel in space, time, and memory through a continual process of discovery. Her work reflects the entanglement of collective moments, memories, connections to place, and the inherent poetry of the land. She explores the small intricacies of life—from the perfume of a flower and the touch of fabric to the changing of the seasons or the sound of music—creating an intertwined relationship between place, memory, and imagination that flows seamlessly throughout her paintings.
