Prestigious Recognition

David is a member of the UNESCO International Academy of Ceramics and co-founded ALUSID, a sustainable surface materials manufacturer whose innovative products have been utilized by numerous prestigious clients worldwide. His work has been exhibited internationally and is featured in major collections across Europe, Asia, and North America.

 

 

Academic Career

After a distinguished teaching career spanning 40 years, David retired in 2020 as Professor Emeritus of Contemporary Ceramics from the University of Central Lancashire. His extensive knowledge of ceramic practices continues to inform his artistic work, which can be seen at Graystone Gallery in Edinburgh.
