About Lesley

Lesley Briggs, Founder and Director

Graystone Gallery is owned and managed by Lesley Briggs. After a long career as well-respected fashion consultant, Lesley embarked on her own art journey in 2017.

Since then, she's studied extensively, completing Christie's Art Business Master Class and an MA in History of Art. Lesley went on to assist the Chief Archivist at the Whitechapel Gallery, London. 

After moving to Edinburgh in 2021, she joined Colinton Arts as Gallery Manager, establishing the business and curating a series of successful exhibitions. She is also a Patron of the Royal Scottish Academy of Art and Architecture.

Now she's taken her passion for art and artists and set up her first wholly owned gallery, supported by her husband and co-founder Rob.
